Make sure you get a good night's sleep, every night, and try to avoid over-sleeping as well. Try to go to bed at the same time each night, and get up around the same time each morning. The meals you eat need to be well-balanced as well. You heed protein, healthy fats, and healthy carbs. In other words, a bowl of high-sugar cereal will spike your blood sugar quickly, causing a crash that will make... more

whatever you do, do NOT drink tea, coffee, or pop within 3 or 4 hours of the time you are going to try and fall asleep. The caffeine in these products is gonna kill your chances of falling asleep. Also, I find that listening to music will help put you to sleep. Your focus shifts from everything but the music, and your body is able to relax and you fall asleep easily. Just remember that falling as... more

When he comes into this world, he is sleeping twelve hours a day. Adolescents need more sleep than adults. A pregnant lady needs about eight hours of sleep and six hours may suffice for a non pregnant lady to rejuvena... more

As a general answer to being always tired or fatigued, I would start making a food diary. Are there certain days you feel tired or just some days. It could be some foods you eat. Too much coffee and or sugar can certainly do this. Pay attention to the days you feel so tired and then look back and see what you ate the last two days. more

I have become a nap person. I think it started when I found I enjoyed working late at night at home when it is so quiet. So sleeping about 5 or 6 hours at night and then a 1.5 hour nap gives me two mornings in a sense. I wake up and like to get right to work. I sleep more hours in the winter than in the summer. more
